Anton is from London and has submitted this independently – he says: Art centres my mind, calming my noisy anxious brain and allowing me to focus on producing something tangible and creative. I draw postcards like this for people I love to show appreciation and affection that I struggle to articulate in words.

Michelle says: Art helps me to focus on the present and ignore all other distractions. Nature is a particularly powerful theme for me and I am able to get lost in the beauty and peace of it and just relax. I walk in nature at least once a week with a nature group between April and September.

Nature can be enjoyed by all at any time of the year, and being outside in the natural world is very good for our mental health.

This work has been submitted independently by MC who says I strongly resonate with the values and aims of the InFinnity Project. Having suffered from severe mental health problems myself and found a degree of healing through art, I love how this the InFinnity Project combines art, creativity, and mental health advocacy into a single, accessible platform that empowers young people.
