2024 Cards

Thanks to all the participants in this year’s InFinnity Project.  It has been so interesting seeing how the themes have been interpreted.  The Judges have done a great job and mostly agreed on the final selection as follows:

Focus theme:

Two entries had equal scores – A very powerful interpretation by Minna from London and Where’s the ladybird? by Rachel Randle from Hertfordshire

The Colours of Madness by Minna
Where's the ladybird? by Rachel Randle
Where’s the ladybird? by Rachel Randle

  Outstanding interpretation!

The galactic spiral is mesmerising and very powerful                                            Meticulous and delicate  colouration

Strength theme:

Hidden Strength by Raven

Raven has been contributing to the InFinnity Project since inception and has been selected every year for her work.  Outstanding result!

The message was considered extremely poignant.

Good use of colour to suggest texture

This idea of inner resilience and courage is beautifully captured

Wings theme:

Angel by Amy Chesterman

This striking work by Amy Chesterman from the Braintree Rethink Art Group has a lovely use of light and is convincingly drawn.

This bold use of classical imagery is very clever in it’s use of perspective. It’s slightly disorientating which makes you wonder if the Angel is ascending or falling, this adds to the intrigue.

The contrast between the soft, angelic figure and the bold, vibrant hues creates a sense of balance and harmony that is truly mesmerizing.
